Welcome to my site. This is going to be the home of the podcast of the same name, giving an overview of the 2nd Sino-Japanese war & how it has impacted relations between the 2 countries since. I am not an expert, but have been fascinated by this conflict & the fact that it doesn’t seem to get much coverage in the west given the scale of the conflict.

Each nation involved focuses on their own role in it I guess. I am not saying that is wrong, it is a big story to tell but as China heads towards superpower status & with Japan being one of the worlds largest economies understanding more about this conflict is going to get more important in the next few years.

I am primarily doing this as a spur to my own learning but I am hoping it will be of benefit to others as well, fingers crossed & if you do decide to join me for the journey then welcome aboard!

The China Incident has resulted in massive loss of life through the mutual killing of neighboring friends. This is the greatest tragedy of the last one thousand years. Nevertheless this is a holy war to save the peoples of East Asia…. Invoking the power of Avalokitesvara, I pray for the bright future of East Asia.
